Smiirl
The first social media connected counter
About Smiirl

Smiirl develops and designs connected objects to enhance the link between the physical and digital identities of small businesses and public places..

We create and build objects to reconnect social identities to physical presence of companies. We've invented the first split-flap display connected to social networks.

The company was created in 2013 by Gauthier Nadaud, Romain Cochet and Raphael Pluvinage. The first product, the "Fliike" is the first physical fan (or like) counter connected in real time and and it's already been set up all over the world in bars, restaurants, shops, spas...etc

The idea started at the beginning of 2012, but we really started to seriously believe there was an actual business one year ago. We built the first prototypes with my friend and designer Raphael Pluvinage, and then met our CTO Romain Cochet who took the project to the next level.

We were accepted into the LeCamping accelerator in Paris in March. It’s a six-month program that supports 12 startups selected among 200 applications for each batch. LeCamping offers a work place, mentor sessions, accounting and legal support, and a demo day tour around Europe.
